Rules and Technical specifications for submitted photos

Only one entry per participant, dublicate entry will be disqualified.

The photo must be submitted as a high-resolution JPEG and less than 4mb.The submitted photo should be relevant to the photo contest theme.

The photo must not contain violence, profanity, sex or direct attacks on individuals or organizations. Any entries deemed offensive will be immediately disqualified.

The photo must be an original creation - no copyrighted images may be used.

If the entry is made very less, the photo contest will be dismissed and full refund will be made through e-mail contact to the respective participants.

The participant must certify and warrant that the submitted photo does not violate the rights of a third party or any copyright. Photocomp is not responsible for intellectual property violations that might have resulted through the submissions of photos.

Judging and winner announcement

After the contest closes, qualifying photos will be judged on adherence to the contest challenge through it's relevance to the theme of contest, message clarity, composition, prospective and overall presentation. Photocomp will appoint a jury to judge the entries. The jury’s decision is final. Any attempt by a participant to influence the result or subvert the photo competition will lead to immediate disqualification.

The photo selected to be considered as winners will be announced in prior to 1 week after the contest has closed and the winners/photographers will be notified by e-mail.

If an entrant is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made to do so, Photocomp reserves the right to offer the prize to the next best entry.

Rights and ownership

By submitting their photos to Photocomp, participants agree to grant Photocomp free of charge the right to use the photo in any manner and media, including without limitation, the right to publish, adapt, distribute, copy, display or translate in printed or electronic media even if they are not the winning entries.

Photocomp agrees to mention the full name of the chosen contestant when used in the socail media, or other related materials.

Participants may be asked to take part in publicity activities.

Agreement to terms

These terms of use constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Photocomp, concerning your access to and use of the Photocomp.com website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website or mobile application related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”).

You agree that by accessing the Site and entering in our photography competition, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all these Terms of Use.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITION OF THE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST, THEN YOUR ENTRY MAY BE DISQUALIFIED.

The site is intended for users who are at least 15 years of age. All users who are minors in the jurisdiction in which they reside (generally under the age of 15) must have the permission of, and be directly supervised by, their parent or guardian to use the Site. If you are a minor, you must have your parent or guardian read and agree to these Terms of Use prior to you using the Site.
